Welcome To The George Community Hall
- To provide a place where community events and social gatherings can comfortably occur
- To promote the arts and culture in George, Washington
- To carry on the traditions begun by our city founders, Charles and Edith Brown
The George Community Hall is managed by a 10-to-15-member Board of Directors, who serve on a volunteer basis. The Board is actively-engaged as Event Directors for the Celebrations that are so important to the City of George, such as the Fourth of July, Presidents' Day, the CoffeeHouse Concert Series during the school year, and the Annual George Washington Bluegrass Festival.
The George Community Hall is also a rental facility where private and family celebrations may be held.
The George Community Hall, established in 1964,
has proven to be vital to the cultural life of of the little
City of George, Washington.
